RE: my stuff
i think the shadows in the rock lee pic are good, but the colours....you have to work on that a little....especially the green of lee's suit and the kakuzu pic...
and the hair of errrrrr konan is a bit flat
but the faces of the lee pic are good

RE: my stuff
Some little hints:
Don't do everything with "brush-toll" use the pen-tool it's more precise.
For trainig get some orderly cleaned pages from Mangahelpers
search for Shade cleans.

RE: my stuff
If you're using the same style that Reaver's using in his tutorial then you should avoid using the blur tool. You should get the hang of (to some extent) cellshading before you go onto other styles. Next, the lineart you're using for these are really bad. Especially the kakuzu pic. As naruto-1969- said, use one of Shade's cleans. They're amazingly good and probably the best to use if you want to colour something.
Your Tobi pic is your best, you should work on the background though. It seems annoying to work on each groove in the wall but the end result looks a lot better. Again, with Tobi, avoid using the blur, it'll look much nicer.
I don't think you should work on the others as the lineart is really bad and so no matter how much work you put into them it'll all go to waste.

Check amaretti's tutorials too, they should help you.

RE: my stuff
Amaretti's tuts can still be used even if you don't have a tablet, you just have to find different ways to compensate for the lack of a tablet (I can't really help you with that as you can only figure that out by experimenting and my ways are probably too confusing).
Good luck with cleaning manga, it looks pretty hard to me, in my opinion, unless you're talking about preparing a page for Zarosaki, in which case there's an easy to follow tutorial for that by eaballer10 on mangahelpers (look in MH academy and there should be a tutorials section, if you can't find I'll post a link for you)
